The Great Britain Sasakawa Foundation promotes mutual understanding and cooperation between the UK and Japan  through financial support for activities in a number of fields, from Arts and Culture to Humanities and Social Issues. In 2013, they awarded us a grant towards Princess Mononoke. 

Whole Hog Theatre's work has been supported over many years by Nelke Planning a Tokyo-based Theatre Production company who specialise in Anime and Manga to stage adaptations and pioneers of the uniquely Japanese genre of the 2.5D Musical (2.5 Dimension Theatre) 

The Daiwa Anglo Japanese Foundation supports closer links between Britain and Japan. In 2015, they awarded our Artistic Director, Alexandra Rutter, a Daiwa scholarship to go to Tokyo to further Whole Hog's work in Anglo-Japanese theatre.  In 2019, they awarded us a grant towards The Garden of Words.
