Whole Hog Theatre is currently unsubsidised and independently funded. We have been able to make our work thanks to an incredible network of people and organisations  via donations, crowdfunding, grants, support-in-kind and the extraordinary commitment of our volunteers who are as passionate as we are about what we do.

As of September 2015, Whole Hog Theatre's work will be being supported by The Daiwa Anglo Japanese Foundation via Alex who has won a 19 month Japanese Language Scholarship to The Naganuma School , Tokyo that will enable the company to gain the skills and experience necessary to continue it’s research and build on the partnerships initiated with Princess Mononoke to create new collaborative adaptations of Japanese source material.

Special thanks to the Great Britain Sasakawa Foundation for awarding us a grant towards Princess Mononoke. The Foundation's aim is to develop good relations between the United Kingdom and Japan by advancing the education of the people of both nations in each other's culture, society and achievements.
